The Association gratefully accepts financial donations to keep our Association operating and to continue our mission . Please contact us if you wish to donate to our organization.

The Tufts Kinsmen Association is unable to accept donations of genealogical collections, data,  records or artifacts. Instead, we encourage people to donate these items to local historical societies, libraries and museums that collect those materials. The Association wishes to continue to educate people about the Tufts family and continue research into additional generations or other families not related to Peter Tufts of Charlestown, Massachusetts. The collection of notes at Tufts University Digital Collections and Archives (DCA) has the best collection regarding the Peter Tufts family of Charlestown and his descendants. This location is likely the best place for Tufts family related materials. The collection contains a myriad of material, from letters and books, to draft genealogies and pictures. In 2019, the Association donated the collection of Tufts Kinsmen author Herbert Adams to Tufts DCA. It also contains the research materials of Tufts Family History by Jay F. Tufts and material related to Charles Tufts benefactor of the University. The Given Library at Pinehurst, North Carolina has another large collection focusing on Pinehurst founder James W Tufts.

A list of the repositories with Tufts family related material will be available on the Research and Education page.
